Your superpowers come from how you think, how you connect, and how you act. Each system holds three archetypes, and each archetype has a distinct way of creating value.
The power to understand what is happening, see what could be, and find the way forward.
Owl · Eagle · FoxThe power to build relationships where people feel safe, included and able to come together.
Dog · Dolphin · DoveThe power to turn ideas into reality, step forward when it counts, and stay the course.
Beaver · Lion · BullEach animal names a core superpower. Most people lead with one and draw on others as situations demand.
The Owl seeks understanding, truth, and clarity. Reflective and objective, Owls naturally step back to examine what is happening beneath the surface and distinguish what matters from what does not. Their power comes from turning knowledge and experience into insight, discernment, and wisdom that helps themselves and others see more clearly.
The Eagle sees possibility, direction, and the future. Eagles naturally rise above immediate circumstances to see the larger context, anticipate what is coming, and imagine what could be. Their power comes from creating vision, generating innovative possibilities, and inspiring others toward a future they may not yet be able to see.
The Fox knows how to navigate complexity and find a way forward. Perceptive, resourceful, and strategic, Foxes quickly read situations, recognize options, and adjust their approach to changing circumstances. Their power comes from seeing pathways others miss and influencing people and resources toward an effective outcome.
The Dog creates trust through loyalty, dependability, and devotion. Dogs form strong bonds, stand by the people and commitments that matter to them, and can be counted on when others need support. Their power comes from creating relationships in which people feel safe, supported, trusted, and never alone.
The Dolphin creates belonging through connection. Socially and emotionally attuned, Dolphins naturally sense the energy between people and use communication, play, and emotional resonance to bring people together. Their power comes from creating relationships and environments where people feel included, engaged, understood, and part of something larger than themselves.
The Dove creates harmony, unity, and emotional safety. Compassionate and authentic, Doves naturally seek common ground, soften divisions, forgive imperfections, and help people move beyond conflict. Their power comes from creating the conditions in which differences can coexist, relationships can heal, and people can come together without losing themselves.
The Beaver turns ideas into reality. Industrious, organized, and execution-focused, Beavers naturally create the structures, systems, and collaboration needed to move work from intention to completion. Their power comes from organizing resources, getting things done, and continually improving how things work so that ideas become tangible results.
The Lion steps forward with courage, leadership, and presence. Lions instinctively take responsibility when something important needs to be protected, defended, or led. Their power comes from their willingness to face difficulty, provide direction, stand up for people and principles, and create confidence in others through the strength of their presence.
The Bull brings strength, determination, and endurance. Steadfast and disciplined, Bulls have the capacity to stay the course when circumstances become difficult and others might give up. Their power comes from sustained effort, resilience, and the ability to apply tremendous energy toward what matters until the challenge has been overcome.
The book opens at eCity, where four colleagues, Dot, Scottie, Timmy and CeCe, each learn to recognize and use the power they already have. Their story runs through the book and closes at an all-hands meeting where their contributions are finally seen.
Alongside the story, each chapter gives you the practical framework: the three operating systems, the nine archetypes, and how to apply them to your own work, team and leadership.
